Each morning breakfast is tastefully prepared and served in the traditional Austrian breakfast room. Our memorable breakfasts continue to entice and satisfy our guests with a variety of fresh fruits, meat and cheese, homemade granola and muesli, which comes from the German word for mixture. You will not want to miss our famous Aebleskivers with homemade apple syrup. Here is another popular recipe from Abendblume:
1 whole egg per serving (2 halves)
§ 10 eggs, boiled
§ ½ Cup butter melted
§ 1 tsp dry mustard
§ Pinch of Cayenne & Paprika
§ 2 tsp grated onion
§ Salt & Pepper to taste
2 Cup sour cream
1 Cup bread crumbs
2 TBSP Parmesan
Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and combine with butter, seasoning and onion. Re-stuff egg halves.
Place egg halves yolk side down on hash browns. Cover with sour cream, bread crumbs, cheese and chopped parsley.
Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
For the Hash Browns, we use Red, Yukon Gold and a small amount of Sweet Potatoes.
